Gordon’s was one of the first Ontario auctioneers to have employed the use of live/online auctions. If you are a seller of higher end goods, you may wish to explore this option. Live/online auctions provide the regular auction follower with the same auction experience they would normally expect, except that they have the convenience of bidding from home or the office if they prefer. Likewise, anyone with a computer connection can log on and participate in the bidding, or simply watch as the auction advances.

Local people who want to bid live but don’t want to hang around all day can watch the auction online, and then come down to the auction center when their lot is getting close to coming up. It costs more to bid online so the advantage is always with the person who is able to take the time to bid directly from the auction center.
 
Live/online auctions have the advantage to the seller of providing a world-wide audience, with the convenient one or two day sale environment of a live auction.
